Adobe said that they are implementing this as a beta as they continue to develop Apple M1-compatible versions of these programmes. In the same announcement, Lightroom Classic, Photoshop, and Adobe Camera Raw are now compatible with Apple's built-in emulation tool, Apple Rosetta. Also, Windows 10 products powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor will enjoy the same native compatibility. This means that Lightroom works without any workaround required (like Rosetta) on Mac products using the new Apple Silicon.
